The "astral ether" is Bardon's term here for the Akasha at an astral
density or level ('akasha' and 'ether' being, at times, interchangeable
terms). Here, the Akasha manifests with astral features such as color
and sensation (perceived with the *astral* senses), but it is still
Akasha. Therefore, the 'astral ether' *cannot* be accumulated (the
exercises involve breathing it in and out but not accumulation).
