All of this/your info helps.

I am bound for phoenix on the 23rd and will be back in about a week to help my
friend with his Alcohol situation.

I will do what I can do and I know that he is primarily the one responsible for
his situation.

Sincerely, Robert

Interesting timing as I have been pondering this very issue. What got
me started was reading (several times) Steiner's Knowledge of Higher
Worlds and Its Attainment, from the files section. He talks about
balancing feeling, will and intellect. I believe this is a huge key
to addiction and many other issues that plague our world today. My
father was an alchoholic, so I am very, very familiar with the issue.
As I have integrated the issue of balance more and more into my life,
the importance of this has become obvious. Once I started changing,
stopped letting desire rule (I am a scorpio) , etc. new structures
began forming in me. I became aware of how often I had listened to
nothing but desire. This is exactly what an alcoholic in that mode.
Further alcohol moves once's consciousness farther away from thought,
the more one consumes it. I suppose that Steiner's work is really
different words for Bardon's soul mirror and elemental balancing, but
for some reason it struck home more clearly for me.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Chris
