Dear 'Frater QV',

>> Thank you for that list. Is the database you mentioned searchable by
topic? <<

I was searching the digital .pdf versions that are available online.
They each have a "Find" function as part of the Adobe Acrobat format.

>> Still, the statementes are better topics for meditation than they are
definitions of akasha. <<

Well, of course they are. :)

>> For example, what exactly does it mean to be spaceless and timeless?
Can anyone imagine such a state? <<

Yes, one can imagine such a state and that is the point of offering a
"definition" that requires consideration, contemplation and meditation.
The same holds true for any of the "definitions" offered in the Theory
section -- all of them require consideration, contemplation and
meditation for them to be of any genuine practical use.

>> There are also some internal inconsistencies with the statements. For
example, in the last sentence of item #7, Bardon is apparently referring
to the astral plane as spaceless and timeless, yet that is the
definition of akasha. <<

:) Perhaps with a bit of consideration, contemplation and meditation it
will make more sense to you. Besides, all of these excerpts were taken
out of context.

>> In KTQ, bardon talks about akasha, the mental plane (causal in most
vernacular.), and the astral plane. The difference between them is that
akasha is spaceless and timeless, the next region includes space, and
farther down you also get time. It's important to keep these
distinctions in mind, otherwise, it's easy to get lost. <<

The distinctions between these realms are much more significant than
just their temporal differences.

>> Bardon gave the world a lot. Unfortunately, he didn't give us
everything. <<

;-) Of course he didn't. It would be impossible to "give us
everything"! Besides, Hermetic initiation is not about having all the
answers served up on a silver platter -- it's about *personal*
exploration, *personal* experience, and *personal* discovery.

My best to you,
:) Rawn Clark
