Re: Re: Spirit Contact and step 3 of the Archeaus

Message 00267 of 3835

Dear Peter,

>> So actual direct perception of a spirit requires the actual
seperation of the mental body from the astra-physical body? How would
the direct perception of a spirit with just the mental body alone
differ from the direct perception as found within step three of the
Archeaous? Are not both direct perception? <<

A sigil describes or symbolizes the spirit in terms comprehensible by
that level of human consciousness whose language is symbol. In order to
truly contact the spirit itself and not just the human symbol, requires
a journey, with the *solitary* mental body, to the realm of the
particular spirit itself. The sigil and name indicate "where" one
looks, but this is only a rough guide, not a specific pin-point guide.
In other words, simply meditating on the sigil will not bring the spirit
to you -- you have to go to the spirit.

In Lesson Three of the Archaeous, the awareness is focused within the
mental body but the mental body still resides within the astra-physical
shell. In Lesson Five, which will be out fairly soon, I instruct in the
passive separation of the *solitary* mental body. The *solitary* mental
body is defined as just the Air and Fire regions of the mental body
*when they occupy a different spatial location than the physical and
astral shells*. When isolated this completely from the physical and
astral aspects of consciousness, perception occurs *just* within the Air
and Fire regions of the mental body. But when the mental body still
occupies the same space as the physical and astral bodies, one is still
intimately connected to these bodies and perception is immediately
processed by the Water and Earth regions. This immediacy to the astral
and physical makes it impossible for the mental body to truly travel to
the spirit's realm and thus make contact.

This fact becomes much more obvious once you've experienced the passive
separation of the solitary mental body. I think Lesson Five will be
much more what you're looking for than Lesson Three.

My best to you,
:) Rawn Clark
