Ave YaGi, Have you tried your meditations at different times of the day? Some people are more alert when they wake up in the morning, and others feel they become more aware as the day goes on, so experiment with that a bit. Remember what Bardon says in the description for the thought control meditation, be an observer to your thoughts. Try not to become part of your thoughts, but watch them, observe their tendencies and then watch how they fade away, and fade away they will. Also, experiment with your position. Are you sitting or lying down? If you're lying down, it will become much easier to drift into a dream like state, so trying doing the meditations sitting in a chair with back straight and feet flat on the floor. If this yields similar results, and if you find it suits you, try doing the meditation in a Yoga Asana (posture). A really key thing though, and thus why Bardon put emphasis on it, is to be the observer. Meditate on what that means while you're at it. Who do the thoughts belong to? Hope this helps some.
