Dear Rawn, >>>Right-vs-left hemisphere is certainly a left-hemisphere sort of way of putting it, but that's basically the correct idea. Ultimately though, the magician must integrate the two hemispheres (i.e., the whole of one's consciousness) and be able to employ both simultaneously or separately (i.e., be able to use whatever part of their whole consciousness is needed and still process their perceptions through the other parts).<<< I'm a psychology student, the whole right-vs-left hemisphere idea is just a convenient theory to help me to understand it all. Recently I came across a book entitled _The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain_ by Betty Edwards which details a methodology to help draw upon the right side of the brains intuitive and spatial qualities to allow for better drawing and artistic talents. While I haven't gone through all of the different exercises within it, it certianly does seem to be an effective methodology for learning how to use the often underdeveloped right side of the brain. Though, by any means Betty Edwards does not suggest that either side of the brain is better than the other. Love and Live well, Peter Reist
