I think, if I remember correctly, one should not look into their past
lives, as they would inherit all the accrued karma. As well as this,
they would feel "very old". So how does one know if they have worked
on the Work before? I think several people have mentioned that latent
abilities (ie. abilities that were earned in previous lives) start to
unfold in steps 2 and 3.

This brings me onto another question. If one still owes negative
karma from many previous lifetimes, how does one work it all off? 

And how long does it take? A lifetime? Many more?

Any ideas please?
