The person has an emotional issue or negative thought pattern that
exposure to the allergen intensifies for whatever reason (this is a very
personal relationship whose mysteries are difficult to plummet from the
outside). In other words, the *physical* immune system associates the
allergen with the emotional issue that it intensifies and reacts to the
emotional issue or negative thought pattern (symbolized by the allergen)
as if it were an invading organism. The intensification of the
emotional issue or negative thought pattern then manifests physically as
an allergic reaction and as a disharmony in the energy body. The
untransformed psyche thus maintains the status quo by shifting the
person's attention away from the emotional issue or negative thought
pattern and placing attention on a physical level "allergic reaction".
