Hello, I have done elemental diets every year for several years, one week each element except air. Air and my blood sugar issues don't go well together :) Air gets three or four days. I will also eat elementally when I feel I am lacking something. Say I am very emotional, watery, about a situation. I will eat some nice earth foods to ground me OR eat lots of air foods to give me a more rational way of looking at the situation and to lift me up out of the funk. I see tomatos as fire cause of all the sugar in them supported by the red color. A good way to figure out what something is to charge it and see if it hold the charge- Example, put your hands over a potato and pour as much earth energy in it as possible. Then feel it, it should feel very earthy. Now try to pour fire into the potato. It shouldn't be as easy and the potato will still feel mostly earthy when you are done. If you are going to try an elemental diet watch for procsessed foods. Most are fire aligned because of all the salt, sugar and preseratives. You want to eat as close to the source food as possible.
