It's not really a question of whether or not Mormonism, or any other
religion, is more or less compatible with Hermetics. As Bardon stated,
an Hermetic can practice any religion they choose. I think the question
facing an Hermetic in this context is whether or not the Hermetic him or
herself can satisfactorily combine their Hermetic practice with their
religious belief. Where the conflict usually arises is that religion,
by definition, is rooted in the acceptance of a specific dogma revealed
through another person's experience; whereas Hermetic practice, is
rooted in the idea of training the skills whereby the Hermetic is
enabled to seek out their own "revelation" and experience.
