Dear Rawn >> Thus the magician should still wait until the beings of the realm initiate an interaction because, *it is at that moment that the magician ceases to be overly vulnerable to a moderate influence from within the realm impacting them and causing an imbalance*. In other words, when *the magician* is ready and would not be harmed by such an interaction, the beings of the realm will initiate an interaction. << That's interesting! What a delightful revelation! That puts the interactions with the Elementals in a completely different light. After you hear various tales of immature magicians putting their lives at risk by dealing with the Elementals, you begin to imagine some of them may perhaps be dangerous, even openly hostile towards humans. What you're suggesting is that none are 'inherently' dangerous to humans as such (though I imagine they retain the right to be unfriendly if they choose!), it's just that they're just so powerful in their own environment that they can't help but cause harm to those that aren't mature enough to maintain their own elemental balance. And anyone forcing the issue gets their fingers burnt. Umm. That puts the whole issue of not interacting until they approach, in a far more reasonable and obvious perspective. Another of those areas that calls for indepth meditation to reveal it's real import, I imagine! thanks Richard [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
