The 12 Step Recovery system is very compatible with
Bardons work and your friend can find other people
that also strugggle with this cunning. baffling and
powerful addiction to alcohol. the Fourth Step is very
similar to the Mirror work in Bardon's work. The
community healing aspect is also a very helpful tool
which is found in AA and other 12 Step programs. I
would highly recommend that your friend goes to these
meetings and finds one that he likes and gets involved
with a sponsor working these steps. The other
alternative is an initial phase of treatment which is
very intense and to choose a Centre that is based on
twelve step work.
i have been abstinant from alcohol for fifteen years
and am very grateful for finding theis program. If
your friend ghas already tried this approach then ask
if he/she is working the steps. I wish your friend
wellness.
