For what it's worth, and although Robert Bruce does have a doubtful 
connection with Bardonism, he reports the same thing. See

it's somewhere in there I 
think under 'astral projection'. He explains it as being to do with the fact 
that one is actually able to see in 360 degrees, but cannot process this 
properly and as a result may also flip things mirrored or inside out, etc. as 
well. Interesting stuff but I know nothing personally. Jason
