Dear Nik, >> I thought that I had mastered the though control exercise when I moved on to the next stage. I only did the negative portion of the soul mirror, and that was about 6 months ago...I think that you have hit the nail on the head. My approach is too disorganized. I want to eat the whole cake at once, so to say. Should I focus only on one step at a time? Lets say, spend on part of my meditation focusing on though control, then stop my meditation for a minute and move on to a different meditation? << As you are discovering, it is a waste of time and effort to stray from Bardon's explicit instructions. I recommend that you start over and do *exactly* what Bardon instructed. Start with the first exercises in all three sections of Step One, work at them until you have mastered them and then move on to the next exercises in sequence. Don't skip things like the positive Soul Mirror or jump around the mental exercises, etc. Simply do as instructed. *That* is how you get to eat the whole cake -- one bite at a time. :) My best to you, :) Rawn Clark 04 Dec 2004 rawnclark@... rawn@... http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BardonPraxis http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
