Dear Andrej, >> in the first step, in the mind exercise i have to observe the ideas, the mind, but i still dont know what exactly this *observe* means. Do i have to concentrate on this ideas? if not, i still must *see* them. And to see them, i need to concentrate, or not? << "Observe" means to watch. I compare it to sitting at a cafe and simply watching and listening the other patrons at the cafe. You sort of eavesdrop on the conversations happening around you but you don't participate in them. With the first mental exercise, you do not *participate* in whatever is happening within your mind and you do not *react* to whatever happens (this is a form of participation). All you do is attentively observe. :) My best to you, :) Rawn Clark 16 Dec 2004 rawnclark@... rawn@... http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BardonPraxis http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
