Dear Friends, My sincere thanks to all of you who wrote in during this final month of BardonPraxis with your kind words of appreciation. :) Your sentiments touched me deeply. About a dozen years ago I came across the following "Manifesto for the Teacher" which I have tried my best to keep as a constant guide in all of my online work. Its simple wisdom has shaped my own definition of my role as "companion" and of the true companionship which I have tried my best to offer all of you here. I share it with you now in the hopes that it will similarly shape how folks who choose to answer questions interact with those who ask questions, and that it will serve as a standard of behavior that those who ask questions will hold their responders to and judge them by. MANIFESTO FOR THE TEACHER *Share with us your love -- Do not tell us how to share ours. *Share with us your wisdom -- Do not speak nor decide for us. *Share with us your mind -- Do not implant it in us nor tell us what to do. *Share with us your light -- Do not tell us where we should spread ours. *Share with us your power of action -- Do not control this power for us. *Show us how to spread our wings -- Do not ever clip them. *Teach us how to learn -- Learn from us how to teach. At some point within the next few weeks I will be posting the entire BardonPraxis archive on ABC.com. If you'd like to be on the ABC.com update notification list, please register your email address at http://www.ABardonCompanion.com/subscribe/ If you wish to get in touch with me in the future, please follow the instructions at http://www.ABardonCompanion.com/Contact.html I wish you each the very best success! My best to you all, :) Rawn Clark 30 April 2005 http://www.tmo-wg.net http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
