Fluids and Elements

Message 00176 of 3835

Dear Rawn,
There is something I don't clearly understand
concerning the Elements, if I may.

In your comments concerning IIH, you mention :

a) <<The Fluids are the two primal forces and the
Elements are their extension or modifications.>>

>From what I understood that the Fluids are the cause
and the Elements the Effect, therefore that the
electrical fluid itself is provoking a change from
"active" to "passive/negative" in Fire e.g.

But I re-read the previous sentence :

b) <<Within the Fire Element, the Electric Fluid is
found in the Fire's expansiveness>>.

which seems to slightly contradict a), and also seems
to imply that there should no be any fluid in Fire
since it shows the opposite of "expansiveness" under
its negative form : "destructive, contracting etc."

Does this mean that the fluid provokes the change and
"withdraws" from the Element :-) ? Or does that mean
that the Fluid ITSELF changes its effects/polarity
along with the Element - which I did not find in the
texts ?

And if the Fluid is absent from the Element when in
passive form, how can the Element change its polarity
without the Fluid "coming back " ?

Oooof. Hope you'll understand the question.

What did I miss ?

Many thanks.
Newbie.
