There are many ways to relax yourself.

A way that works for some, not very well for me even if i get 
result, is to visualise a sphere of light flying everywhere in your 
body. This sphere relaxes everything it finds.
You push it in your head, and you feel your head free of tensions...

Another way :
while breathing in, contract your left foot and when expiring, relax 
it completly. Do it again.
Then, do exactly the same with :
- left leg
- right foot
- right leg
- chest
- left hand/arm (hand then arm)
- right hand/arm 
- head
- the whole body
If you feel bad when doing this exercice, then stop it.

You could also just think of something very pleasant. This helps to 
relax. Then take long breath and as you expire, imagine all tensions 
decrease and finaly disapear.

Doing some stretching can help you too.

There are, of course, other ways ; this is just few suggestions.
