First let me echo the thanks to Chuck, Rawns advice combined with that exercise helped smooth out the problem I was having. Hmm..im not the most experienced person on here, but sometimes it helps to get another persons perspective on things. Maybe if you decided once and for all what to do about the problem it would stop becoming a distraction while you meditate? as for the problem itself though, i think coffee's less harmful than cigarettes, and theres no such thing as second hand coffee ( although i may be biased in favor of coffee ). As for suspending VOM, once i neglected it for a goodish amount of time due to real life concerns, and was surprised at how long it took me to get back in the swing of it, so id only do that if you felt you absolutley had to. Didn't Franz Bardon actualy have a smoking problem? if he did your in good company. Well, this is just my own 1 cent ( were having a half off sale on all my opinions today only ) Good Luck.
