 Yes indeed the mixing of these metals can be tricky.
I have a good friend that is a Metallurgist so I will ask him how to mix these 
metals and send the info on.

This fellow has made a Iron and Aluminum alloy so he should be able to help, 
but it may not be speedy.

Thanks, but having read the description in IIH, I was wondering if 
anyone on here had any info further to that presented in the book, 
particularly with regard to mercury in the ingredients, as a 
metallurgist(ish!) friend of mine was concerned that it would leach 
from the alloy.
