What is the name of RAWN'S book, Please. I would like to get it> Hilda Sokan <carpediem108@...> wrote:I hope that it is alright for me to throw in my two cents here. I think that the mirrors and subsequent balancing reflects our accumulated karma and how we can effectively deal with it, and with experience and a deep practice of VOM we come to be less and less determined by our conditioning and the events of life. I think a similar message is put forth in Patanjali, Buddhism and in most systems of spiritual development that deal with psychological issues. My point is that we cannot react spontaneously and appropriately if we are still determined by an artificial quality that we identify with as our fixed self. The goal it seems to me is to free our selves of fixed notions of who we are and allow our consciousness and our lives a way to be open, in the moment and unimpaired. Martial arts insists on developing this kind of mental clarity, without it you are to late and in the old days would be in a world of hurt. S. P.S. I am reading Rawn's book and am so grateful for the guidance and support it offers. Thanks Rawn. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rawn Clark To: BardonPraxis@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 1:39 PM Subject: Re: [BardonPraxis] Magical equilibrium Dear Tzidaos, >It does in that the majority of dis-equilibrium in our mundane >circumstances arises from our inner dis-equilibrium. >> How does it happen ? By our actions / reactions ? Or by 'magnetic' effect ? Both ? << Both, but primarily by our reactions. When our responses to external circumstances are not in harmony with our inner true nature they therefore cannot be in harmony with the external circumstances. This causes a frission between the two which results in an external dis-equilibrium that matches our internal dis-equilibrium. Our internal dis-equilibrium prevents us from achieving harmony with external circumstances. >It is also easier for us to perceive the external equilibrium >that already exists once we have attained the internal or >personal equilibrium. >> We cannot perceive this perfection without personnal equilibrium? For example by living in the present moment and by understanding that everythings is perfect ? << We can perceive it in the absence of an internal equilibrium, but having the internal equilibrium makes this perception *easier*. :) >Furthermore, the presence of an internal equilibrium >can have the magnetic effect of causing an external >dis-equilibrium to correct itself. >> It sound interesting ! Does the inverse is possible ? << Yes, if by inverse you mean can an external equilibrium cause an internal dis-equilibrium to correct itself. I'm sure you've experienced this yourself. For example, haven't you ever encountered a very peaceful location which had the effect of leaving you feeling equally peaceful? At any rate, it's the same principle of one vibratory frequency affecting another frequency. If by inverse you mean can an external dis-equilibrium disrupt an internal equilibrium, then no. By definition, the astral and mental Equilibrium of the Elements is unaffected by external circumstances. If one does feel unbalanced by an external dis-equilibrium then the true Equilibrium of the Elements has not yet been attained.
