RE: Cold Showers

Message 02251 of 3835

Hello,
A "cold shower" is not necessary. All that is necessary is a blast of cold water. The directions, in essence, say to bathe or wash in cold water. The footnote mentions that a cold shower can take its place.

When showering all that is necessary is to turn the water to cold for a short while. I usually do about 30 seconds to a minute and then resume the normal temperature. You might try doing this one or two times per shower. This technique is actually used by some therapists to increase circulation.

Regards,
Simon

Hi All

I've been taking the cold showers for 3 weeks, for approximately 3
minutes each time, but have found myself with a constantly running
nose the entire time, which isn't very nice.

Is this normal?

All the best

Ben
