Dear AJ, >> As soon as I switch into 'observer' mode, I get a pain in my right eye. This does not happen all the time, and did not happen when I first restarted. At first I thought I was unconsciously tensing some muscles in my forehead/around the eye, but laying my hands on my face when doing the 'switch' revealed no visible effect/tensing. << The only thing *I* can think of is that you're turning your eyeball upward. This is very common when concentrating with the eyes closed and can cause a pain in the eye itself. It's also an action that doesn't require the tensing of the muscles *around* the eyesocket, brows, cheeks, etc., so you might not feel it with your hand as you described. It's also so automatic for some folks that they won't notice they're doing it unless they are consciously aware of the possibility and on the lookout for it. My best to you, :) Rawn Clark 01 July 2004 rawnclark@... rawn@... http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BardonPraxis http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
