The meaning/purpose that you imprint on the light before targeting the 
individual remains the same, but the modality of use of the light is up to the 
Greater Self. At least that's how I understand it from my practice and Rawn's 
commentaries. You may want to post your TMO questions on the TMO board for more 
answers.
