Directed healing in TMO?

>From what I understand of the TMO meditation, the Adoni Light is 
concentrated and then "handed off" to the Greater Self of the 
individual involved, and then applied by the Greater Self to the 
individual. Does this mean that the Greater Self could apply the 
Light to some issue that the individual has other than the one they 
had in mind when they requested the healing?
