The TMO technique does not *force* an expansion of the receiver's
awareness but rather, *integrates* an expanded perspective into the
other's awareness. An ankhur on the other hand, forces an expansion,
the integration of which is up to the receiver.

Furthermore, an ankhur usually causes a very specific expansion, whereas
the TMO approach is holistic in its effect.
