Dear Vovin, >> I have been practicing the concentration exercises of the astral senses, and would like to have something cleared up (or at least a second opinion). In the exercises regarding astral sight, you are to visualize an object before you for a certain amount of time first with eyes closed, and then with eyes open. Now I have read somewhere that it helps the concentration immensily if you keep the object that you're visualizing in motion, rotating it. From my owns trials I can agree that it is much easier to keep the object in focus by keeping it in motion. What I would like a second opinion on, however, is if this is something that should be allowed... Is this cheating? << First off, these are *mental* exercises, not astral exercises. Rotating your visualization in order to *gain* focus would be acceptable, but once you've achieved your desired degree of focus, you should stop the rotation and take firm control of your mental creation. If your creation rotates of its own accord then this is not at all good since it means that you are not in control of your creation. The idea ultimately is that you learn to be in absolute command and control of your mental creations. My best to you, :) Rawn Clark 16 Sept 2003 rawnclark@... rawn@... http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BardonPraxis http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
