Re: A nice, sweet, mental sleep.

Hello. I think your comment is a very good one. Once the 'mind chatter' is less than interesting b/c I have seperated myself form it in the step 1 of observation.. the next day and the next are always experienced with a greater and more profound sense of vitality as well as fearlessness. I feel far more energetically balanced and maintained. No matter WHAT level of IHH is achieved, I believe this practice well merits its continuation (IE - step 1 each day).

My question is more along the lines of: "What is defined as the thought?". During observation of the 'mind-chatter', that which is observed is sensed much more like a wisp of feeling below my observation or *within* the observation. It becomes what I would categorize as a thought when it is consciously or unconsciously focused upon, drawn into the obserational 'sphere' and gravitates an enhanced magnetic attraction to the focus of the self observing. Then the observer 'enters' or is 'enveloped' by that which was being 'observed' (previously w/o attatchment) and it then becomes what I would categorize as closer to a THOUGHT than the wisps of hints of thoughts below the surface of the 'waters'.

I do not beleive this mind-chatter is "false", however, in its own sphere of influence... perhaps fear-based, survival based, outrside-the-self or lower personality based, but in its sphere of influence, it serves a purpose.

thanks again for your observation. I gained from it being a shared experience.

exhausting than letting it go?
