Re: Re: Working with the Elements

Message 01899 of 3835

Dear David
An imbalance in the elements can be caused by a
deficency of an element or an excess of a different
element. For example an overheated body may be due to a
lack of the water element causing the fire element to
be predominant.Or there could be just a straight
surfeit of fire.In both cases symptoms and signs can
be similar, though there are differences.Treatment is
definitely NOT the same.
There is a discussion of this in IIH in the theory
section under Man_About the body.In my edition the
relevant section starts midway through the second last
paragraph with the words "If any element were
missing,...".The author talks about the deficient then
the excess scenario.
For diagnosis and treatment visit Malkuth in The Eight
Temples Meditation Project. If you can handle it,visit
Yesod for the psychological perspective.

Regards
Will
