I experience this at times too, I have one friend who is a seeker but
he leans more toward the modern "New Age" thinking. I haven't met
anyone yet who I can have a good face-to-face with.

You may find that joining something such as the Theosphical Society
would allow you to meet people of similar mind. I have never joined
myself but have thought about it at times. They accept people of all
religions, philosophy, etc. And there is always these online groups.
:-)

And I guess I wouldn't be a practicing adept if I didn't say, make sure
you look within and introspect upon this issue ;-)
