Daniel wrote: I personally find Isaac Luria's (the
ARI) writings fascinating. Unfortunately, as far as I
am aware, there are no English translations of his
works. There was an English edition of the first part
(out of four) of the book "Etz Chayyim", but it is
currently "out of print until further notice". :/

There are a number of books that provide some
explanation of Lurianic Kabbalah plus there are a
number of yahoo groups that discuss Lurianic kabbalah
and may be able to provide some further references.
However, please avoid any books published by the
Kabbalah Learning Centre (often written by "rabbi"
Berg). I think there is a particuarly well-written
post on this forum that explains why this "centre" is
little more than a cult.

I would also add for those unfamiliar with Jewish
kaballah that there are a number of different schools
of thought so one's reading may highlight a number of
contradictions between various authors.

Kindest regards

Dan
