Re: elemental ballancing

Dear Rand,

>> Considering moving on to step two in IIH, the task of elemental
ballancing seems daunting. Bardon does mention that there can be no
magical success or development before this is done, and of course
mentions three techniques for overcoming those negative character traits
on the black soul mirror. If he is implying that we need to
clean slate completely on the dark soul mirror- I see many lifetimes of
work there. So- what is the point at which one moves on? <<

:) It does seem daunting when you're standing at the very beginning,
but once you begin the work of character transformation and begin
getting a few successes under your belt, you realize that it's not as
daunting as it seemed at first. The effect is cumulative in that each
item you transform will also have an effect upon all the rest of your
soul mirror issues. The personality is *not* composed of *separate*
items -- they are all interconnected and related one to the others. So
when you change one item, all the others are changed slightly too. In
other words, there is a snowball effect that comes into play and each
transformation becomes easier than the last.

By the end of Step Two, what you need to have accomplished is the
transformation of all your most prominent negative character traits.
This results in a *balance*. It's not until the end of Step Three that
one must have attained the Astral *Equilibrium* in which all of the
negative traits have been positivized.

I suggest that you visit my website http://www.ABardonCompanion.com and
do a search on "soul mirror" and "equilibrium" for more information
along these lines.

My best to you,
:) Rawn Clark
