Dear Brian,

Welcome to BardonPraxis. :)

>> Im new to the group and been tryin to study the Bardon books Guide to
Hermetics and was wondering if any one could tell me, how long should
you work on an exercise befor you move on to the next? <<

You must pursue each exercise until you have attained the minimum
requirement that Bardon outlined (i.e., until you've "mastered" it).
There is no set amount of time since each individual will take however
much time it takes *them* to achieve this "mastery".

>> is it ok to start from another area of the book that you know you can
do like the focusing then work from there? <<

No. You should start at the very beginning and methodically work your
way through the exercises exactly as Bardon instructed. You should not
skip any exercise if you desire to make genuine progress.

When you come upon an exercise that you can already perform then that
just means it will take you very little time to "master" it, but that
does *not* mean you should skip working on that exercise.

My best to you,
:) Rawn Clark
