Dear 'kxcorinth', Welcome to BardonPraxis! :) >> I cannot afford to buy his first book at the moment, so I have been reading all the internet resources I can find about the Steps. << In the interim (i.e., until you save up the money to buy IIH), you can download a free illegal, pirated online version in either .pdf or .html format by going to http://bardon.freespeechsite.com/ >> My question is: Do any of you talk about your results from progressive through his steps? I looked back in the archives here and saw lots of theory and info about the steps, but (so far) I haven't seen much about your experiences. Maybe I just haven't found the right posts yet. << Did you run across any posts about the tenet of 'silence'? At the beginning of Step Three of IIH, Bardon wrote an essay upon the "four pillars of Solomon's temple" -- knowledge, daring, volition and *silence*. Regarding 'silence', Bardon wrote: "The more reticent he is about his knowledge *and experience*, without segregating from other people, the more he will be awarded by the Supreme Source." About the four pillars in general, he wrote: "Who aims at acquiring knowledge and wisdom may do his utmost to obtain the afore-said four fundamental qualities, for nothing at all will be achieved in holy magic, without these requirements." In other words, Bardonists as a breed don't spend much time describing the details of their experiences. :) Although it must be said that, on this forum we do have to get into describing our experiences to a certain degree when it comes to asking and answering questions about problems we're having. But even then it is kept to a minimum. >> So I would very much like to know what, if anything, the results are. What experiences have you had? How have you changed? Have you experienced enough for yourself to know that the Steps work? << Yes, I have experienced enough for myself to know without any doubt whatsoever that the Steps work. :) My best to you, :) Rawn Clark 09 Jun 2003 rawnclark@... rawn@... http://www.ABardonCompanion.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BardonPraxis http://E.webring.com/hub?ring=arionthebardonwe
