Hello Jerry, I know what you mean. I don't think the symbolism is silly at 
all. On the other hand I was very *un*comfortable with myself at step 1, so it 
seems to me more comfortable to spread my branches a bit. If the old familiar 
stuff had been working I wouldn't have been looking for a change. To find 
something absolutely reliable one has to grow, so what one was before was not 
reliable, not absolute. Also, I think in a way one is both the acorn and the 
oak all at once. But since I don't even know what I mean by that I will now 
shut up. Jason
